Experience

I am a well-educated, informed, and experienced psychotherapist with experience working with adult behavioral health populations in Georgia, New York, and New Jersey. Graduating from Rutgers University with a Masters in clinical social work, I have worked in outpatient psychotherapy, inpatient behavioral health and with the homeless population in New Jersey, and have worked outpatient psychotherapy and crisis intervention in Bellevue Hospital in New York City. I currently do private psychotherapy with clients in Georgia and New York and hold dual licensure. I have been trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Trauma-Informed care and Motivational Interviewing. I use a combination of psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral,  motivational interviewing, object relations and existential frameworks to help clients overcome problems as variegated as workplace difficulties, career growth, bicultural identity, immigration, relationships, grief, mood disorders and anxiety. I use a client-centered approach and provide psychoeducation as needed to empower my clients to make the best decisions for themselves.
